Confession
(2nd August 2010)

Nothing makes time pass more quickly than a thought that absorbs all the spaces of the one who thinks. It seems like yesterday was just a dream. Nothing remains in the memory but a vague mist in which thousands of images of you are merged. A torrent of marvelous and impeccable memories, your warm smile, followed by your dark and bewildered eyes. It has washed me away, as if I'm nothing more than a careless child too near the water. Perhaps, this is a place that I have dreamed of, a place to share all the things that I treasure, and ponder in my heart.

Be patient! All in good time.

Title (14/4/2010): An inconvenient truth!

The feeling of being betrayed, followed by an extreme pain is good lesson for everyone.
Sometimes, we do not believe in what we see, even for what we heard.
Because this FACT is extremely hard to digest. But which do you prefer?
A feeling of hope? or a feeling of desperation?

Yesterday I go for 'hope'
and I suffered badly, cried days and nights,
for I thought you were the only one I love.

But today, the 'hope' is just simply a 'hope'.
I wanted you to be happy.
I wanted my friend to be happy.
That is why even in front of me,
both of you have disappointed me.

I am angry but I felt uneasy to be angry,
for I care for both of you.
But have you ever care about my feeling?

the extreme pain feeling that I have experienced in my heart for the past few days,
the fact that I could not sleep every night until I was extremely damn tired,
the emotion that I want to express when I think about the betrayal,
the feeling of lost in the midst,
the lack of acknowledgment and appreciation that you have shown to me.
have you ever care??

Now, where is my pride, my faith, my love, and my buddy that I used to know?
If you have answer, please...Help me! For I am totally lost~
I DO love you and care for you,
but at the same time i do not want both of you to take bad decision. But you already did.

Perhaps, what people said is true:
"Do what you want, Do what you like, for the life is short"

End of the word:
I do not demand much.
I only demand both of you to explain to me in a very clear sense
(no more cheating about what you have done).
I only want the 'honesty', the 'faith', the 'love', the 'care' that I have given is not wasted.

Thing you don't want is dear at any price.

Not recently, I have wandered around in a hot market.
There was a sales state 'Buy 1 Free 1' and I found a pliers. It was so cute and small.

The first thing I saw is 'Made in CHINA', followed by the price:

I tear off first layer of pricing list and I saw:

I was so happy to have a mini size pliers (around 6 cm) and screwdrivers.

Now...when I tried to use it...zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.. something unsuspected thing happen.
The pliers became ...

AND ...

WTF~!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I know I should have bought a good quality pliers 'Made in Japan'~

14th Post: Windshield of vehicle.

Do you all know why the windshield of our car will not hit our face when minor accident occur?

This scene seems familiar to you reader. right?

The fact is:
In the late 1800s, scientists used cellulose nitrate as a sheet layer of our windshield, so it would not break of and hurt the face of the passengers. The broken glass will stick to the cellulose nitrate. Cellulose is the most abundant organic polymer ever exists in the world. Its derivatives are very useful in many applications.

However, cellulose nitrate has successfully been replaced by cellulose acetate in windshield car application due to its flammable properties. That is why we must be glad and thanks mother-nature for cellulose derivatives usefulness. And not to forget, scientists.

Go, Go, Go..preserve and make good use of our environment before they are eliminated.

13th Post. Non-Sticky chewing gum.

Does this sticky part reminds you of something? It always reminds me of a chewing gum. People likes to stick it everywhere; from streets to cinema seats. As the result, millions of dollars have to be spent to remove this gum. Unlike Singapore, those 'kia su' people were smart enough to ban the chewing gum from the market. So their environment will looks clean and tidy. However, with this revolutionary event, will this non-sticky chewing gum settle the issue of not selling the chewing gum in market? I hope so.
Recently, there are companies who developed one kind of non-sticky chewing gum. They turned the hydrophobic (water hating) gum into hydrophilic (water loving) gum. The hydrophilic surface of the gum makes the water stick to the gum. So, there will always be a layer of water around the gum. This is what makes it easily removed. In certain cases, it does not stick at all. It is believed that the gum will be commercially produced in 2008. Yet, some cases like cotton and leather shoes, the problem with sticking gum still exist. How far will the researchers find out the solution to this? How usefulness is the non-sticky gum? Can we simply swallow the non-sticky chewing gum without any danger? This is yet to be discovered.

Earthquake gives bigger impact to lower buildings compared to higher buildings.

In todays blog, I am going to share my opinion about the earthquake, which we all knew it occurred in Indonesia and some other continents. As I was having my supper with some seniors, they discussed about the earthquake; that the taller a building is, the less chances it will collapsed. I have always been thinking that higher buildings tend to collapse easily. I was wrong indeed.

The idea is simple. Collapse of a building may occur if there is a seismic wave. It moves the base of a building at a certain frequency and resonance. Often, the height of the building can be estimated by 10Hz divided by the number of floors. For example,
1 floor ~ 10Hz
2 floor ~ 5Hz
10 floors ~ 1Hz
100 floors ~ 0.1Hz
This concludes that taller buildings are mostly affectedly by low frequency waves. On the other hand, shorter buildings are greatly affected by high frequency waves and the tendency to collapse is much more higher compared to high buildings. Please, If you faced this, run to open air and wide place; or hide under a solid table. At least, the chances to survive is higher. Never ever stay inside short buildings.

p/c:
Seismic wave - is an elastic wave in the earth, generated by an earthquake or explosion.
Frequency - is a number of oscillations per unit of time. It is determined by the frequency of arriving seismic wave. It is also defined as the largest vibration of a building due to enhancement of the energy at a special frequency to the building.

I hope this is useful for one's knowledge

11th Post. Dark Chocolate or White Chocolate. Which one is better? or simply say, which one contributes to your health and which gives you the other way round?

Today lesson is about CHOCOLATES. Who does not love chocolates? The aroma, the taste..yummy..!

As many people have been fearing about the nightmare of eating chocolate due to its fats, they have wrong perception about this. According to literature and proof, dark chocolate is good for health. Indeed, it provides us with anti-oxidant (which is important to prevent aging, cancer, cataracts, etc.). Dark chocolate contains 20x higher anti-oxidant compare to tomatoes. Meanwhile, white chocolate does not contain any anti-oxidant. So, which is good for health? This is obvious. Isn't it?
